There are two versions of this scheme, one "with" icons embedded in the resource fork, and one "without" the icons. I've attempted to give the scheme the look of a watercolor wash, similar to views 19th century travelers might have painted when visiting Greece and her former outposts. Elements were primarily drawn from temples, but the name, Agora, refers to the city square or market place, the center of Greek political, economic and social life. A wide variety of design styles and architectural features were produced during this period, and I've freely borrowed from a number of them (although I tried to stick with the Doric order). Agora is loosely drawn from architectural features of the Hellenic Period of ancient Greece (650-323 B.P.E.).
I have no idea how many variations on the traveling capital will ensue. This is a color scheme designed for Kaleidoscope 1.8 (and later versions), a shareware control panel created by Greg Landweber, Fred Bass and Amargosa Software.Īgora is one of three schemes (thus far) in a series featuring zipping capitals the others are Forum (Gold) 1.1, and its alternate, Forum Red 1.1, and Hoo-Re 1.0.
